Originally from Braunschweig, Germany, now known as Brunswick, this fine spreadable sausage is made from pork and spices.

Makes a great sandwich when combined with stone-ground mustard, onion and cheese.

The main difference between Braunschweiger and Liverwurst is that Braunschweiger is typically smoked, while Liverwurst is not smoked.
